PASADENA, Calif. – June 14, 2017 – Guidance Software, the makers of EnCase®, the gold standard in forensic security, today announced a partnership with Webroot, a market leader in threat intelligence, to provide BrightCloud® IP and File Reputation Services to Guidance customers via a direct integration into EnCase Endpoint Security. By embedding threat intelligence into its Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) products, Guidance customers can more rapidly detect hidden threats before they lead to a breach.

The partnership with Guidance Software represents Webroot’s first with an EDR vendor. Through this integration, Guidance will be able to gather new security insights to better secure customer networks and endpoints, as well as create effective policies to manage accessibility and risk tolerance.
