Metaspike has just pushed out the v3.9 update! Here are some of the features:
Google Drive Attachments
Gmail allows inserting attachments into emails as hyperlinks that point to files on Google Drive. FEC can now authenticate with Drive API and acquire those attachments during a Gmail or G Suite acquisition!
Acquired Drive attachments are hashed, their metadata is included in FEC’s reports, and their file system timestamps are set to reflect their Drive metadata in true FEC fashion.
If you have a dongle license, you can now copy FEC to a flash drive and run it in portable mode with a smaller footprint on the target system.
Command Line Support
It is now possible to load, start, and resume existing FEC projects from the command line. This will help automate acquisitions or even schedule them to run at a later time when needed.
Custom Report Formats
FEC has been exporting its tabular reports in tab-separated values (TSV) format from the start. It is now possible to choose CSV or DAT (we’ve heard you eDiscovery folks!) format. You can even get the reports in multiple formats if needed.
