The Aegis Bio 3.0 fuses leading edge technology in biometric authentication with on-the-fly AES-XTS 256-bit hardware encryption in a rugged, super fast USB 3.0 drive, making your data both ultra secure and readily available at the swipe of a finger. The Bio’s software free design thrives in any operating system, PC, Mac or Linux and also thrives where software-authenticated encrypted devices can’t even function such as embedded systems, machinery, and any equipment in possession of a powered USB port and storage file system. And all of the Aegis Bio’s internal componentry is protected from physical tampering with a layer of hardened epoxy, and the firmware is locked down which prevents any modifications, making it immune to malware attacks such as BadUSB.

On-the-fly 256-bit AES-XTS encryption seamlessly encrypts all data on the drive as it’s being written; all data, authentication codes, and encryption keys remain encrypted while the drive is at rest.
Simply swipe your finger on the sensor for access to your files. Up to five fingerprint profiles can be stored. The fingerprint sensor uses an Advanced live layer imaging technology to provide the most accurate fingerprint image possible by way of a patented dual-plate active pixel design. The sensor uses three different sensing methods that penetrate outer layers of skin to read live layers under the skin (Anti-spoofing protection), meeting the stringent image quality requirements of NIST and the FBI.
Replacing passwords with fingerprint biometrics improves security and efficiency as passwords can be lost, stolen, or forgotten.
No software is involved whatsoever in the Bio’s setup or operation which not only enhances the security of your data, it also affords the ability to run on any platform or system with a powered USB port. The Aegis Bio’s unique Embedded Enrollment keeps all fingerprint enrollment and authentication within the Aegis Bio circuitry, never sharing it with any host system. While other biometric drives use a CD emulation module or software on the host system for fingerprint enrollment, the Aegis Bio involves no software, enabling it to be used on any USB host regardless of its OS.
Hardwired Integrated USB cable is rugged and guaranteed for the life of the drive. USB 3.1 connector is backwards compatible with USB 3.0, 2.0 and 1.1 ports.
Completely cross-platform compatible and OS agnostic; the Padlock 3 thrives with Windows, Linux, Mac, Android, and Chrome.
