Next-gen GID and Summary Report updates

GID: More robust and twice as fast at import*

Since we first released Griffeye Intelligence Database (GID) about a year ago, we have continuously asked for input from different users to make sure we develop it to truly fit your needs. And we’re happy to say that much of the feedback has gone into this release.

All in all, GID has been reworked and rebuilt, making it more robust and faster at import. We’ve also enabled parallel imports, and improved the feedback information from GID when it has been updated from a case.

* The import of binary hashes is about twice as fast in this version compared to the previous Analyze version.

Summary Report: Include visually unique images and additional EXIF data

Several parameters have been made available to the Summary Report which means you will now be able to include more information from the case directly into the report. For example, the count of visually unique images (PhotoDNA) and additional EXIF data such as serial number, camera model and software.

For more details and a full list of all improvements and updates in the 20.3 release, log in to the Griffeye user portal and read the release notes.

Note

  • Please read the release notes for all details before updating to the new GID.
  • Analyze 20.3 is the last release to support Windows 7. Later releases will have no support for Windows 7.
