In the last year, Griffeye has been working behind the scenes to revolutionize the way investigators can connect and share intelligence with each other. Griffeye has announced that Griffeye Intelligence Database (GID) will soon be released.
The GID will replace the existing hash database, DB Manager. This new database will still accumulate data in the form of hashes, but from a superior database engine that has the capacity to handle larger, more diverse and constantly growing amounts of data. Along with new concepts and a better look, the GID will also create a more intuitive and streamlined user experience.
For DI Pro users, the scalability of the engine also applies to the number of users who can connect and utilize the database. Teams, regions and even countries will now be able to work together and seamlessly share information. However, the transition to the GID will result in a couple of workflow changes (especially for DI Core users).
